Care notes: a weekly ritual that’s almost meditative
The six-minute ritual that keeps everything quiet, clean, and yours.
Care is not a chore — at least not the way we’d like to design it. The right ritual takes about six minutes a week and asks nothing more than you’d already give a piece of jewelry or a good ceramic mug.
The six minutes
- Warm water. A little unscented soap. No shortcuts on this part.
- Soft cloth — the linen one if you have it, a clean cotton t-shirt if you don’t.
- Air dry on a clean surface, not in a drawer. Drawers are for storage, not for finishing.
- Put it back where you actually keep it. That’s the ritual completed.
What not to do
No alcohol wipes (they eat glaze over time). No dishwashers (heat changes the seal). No “antibacterial” anything — soap and water already do that job.
That’s it. A small Sunday habit, the same way you’d wipe down a record before sleeving it.
